The Rye is a large, 53-acre area of parkland in the centre of High Wycombe, but has relatively few facilities for visitors. We were commissioned by Wycombe District Council to carry out an extensive public consultation with local communities and interest groups to establish how the park could be made better. Our findings, coupled with extensive research into the history of the park, potential revenue streams, and the opportunities and constraints for its improvement, led to a series of strategic options to be developed over the next 20 years.
