The Hall Estate, in Bradford on Avon, is the former home of the Moulton family, founders of a large rubber manufacturing company and closely linked with nineteenth-century technological innovations. The estate includes a Grade I-listed Jacobean house, set in wooded grounds close to the centre of town. We carried out a feasibility study to look at how the charitable trust that controls the estate can generate income to maintain it, alongside achieving their vision of nurturing and inspiring new generations of innovative engineers and designers, and engaging the community in the unique industrial legacy of the Moultons.
