Atomik are working with WatchHouse, a leading coffee house, to convert an old pram warehouse in Southwark to create their new 400 sq.m. bespoke headquarters.

Working with the planning consultant, Atomik negotiated a complicate planning approval with Southwark Council to create office to the ground and first floor and two new 2-bed 95 sq.m. apartments for visiting collaborators and clients. The office brief required space planning over two floors, to create: open plan seating hot desking, meeting rooms, quiet pods, coffee tasting and break out spaces. The apartment brief was for two prime 2-bed units with bespoke finishes and fittings.

Collaborating with the interior designer, Deidra Hodgson, Atomik created a full tender pack of information including: finishes, reflected ceiling plans, small power, mechanical, stairs, bathrooms, kitchens, bespoke joinery as well as external details and specification.

Atomik also acted as Principal Designer – CDM and Building Safety Act.
