This renovation and extension in Grayling Road, Stoke Newington, required us to rethink the way the property worked for our clients. The house needed to provide additional space, a better connected family home, but also create discrete space where our artist client, could work easily and conveniently.

 

By reorganising the essential services (central heating, water and drainage) worked we managed to find efficiencies of space incorporating a large utility room and wc and shower into the plan without imposing on the living spaces. We were also able to connect the kitchen directly with the living room.
