Atomik Architecture is a London-based architectural practice working primarily with existing and long-held buildings.

Much of our work involves buildings that have been adapted, upgraded and reinterpreted over time. They are rarely blank slates. They carry technical history, regulatory decisions and inherited constraints that shape what is possible next.

We are often engaged where clarity has been lost – where earlier interventions have accumulated, guidance has shifted, or future change needs to be considered alongside present compliance. Our role is to understand what is already there, how it came to be that way, and how it can be taken forward without creating further uncertainty.

Our projects are characterised by careful space planning, controlled daylight and views, and a restrained, deliberate use of materials. Technical resolution is treated as a design issue, not a downstream exercise, particularly in relation to fire safety, servicing, heritage and long-term maintenance.

We work across planning, heritage, building regulations and delivery, often supporting clients through complex statutory and occupied-building contexts. Our emphasis is on proportionate, defensible decisions that remain coherent over time.
